The connection only works under 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, please check your Wi-Fi setting.
Please power-reset your Fjord to try again. If the problem still exists, please contact us.
Please read the instruction to finish the replacement of filter. The top filter bay opens up when you press the golden button from both sides simultaneously.

During the packaging process, our products would inevitably contain some of the package’s smell like card box and plastic bags, which will also be identified as VOCs. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and are looking into ways to improve this situation on future batches of Fjord/Fjord PROs. At the moment, we suggest you to unbox the air purifier, and turn it on for 30 minutes to fully absorb the smell and VOCs.
Different locations in our living space have different temperature and humidity. The sensors can only detect the surrounding area for evaluation.
The offset between the temperature sensor and actual room temperature is ±1.5℃, while the humidity sensor and actual room humidity is ±6%. We strictly follow the instruction and calibrate the accuracy based on this offset range.

Sensitive Group Care
Most people know that their household air gets contaminated with dust, dirt, pet dander,
and other common pollutants that you can see with your eyes. But indoor pollutants are
complex and include many things that are invisible, like:
Particulate matter: generally divided by size into PM10 and PM2.5 particles, these
microscopic particles are composed of things like dust and dirt, dust mites, chemical
particles, pollen, and soot.
Gases and fumes: Airborne gases like carbon monoxide/dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, black
carbon and sulfur dioxide.
VOCs: Short for “volatile organic compounds,” VOCs are substances (like formaldehyde
and benzene) that volatilize into the air at room temperature.
Biological contaminants: When someone sneezes or coughs, disease-causing viruses and
bacteria readily enter the air. Household mold also releases spores throughout the home.
Indoor air quality can be negatively affected by air pullutants entering from the outdoors,
but our indoor activities produce air pullution as well. For example, household cleaning
chemicals can produce chemical fumes and VOCs, while household flooring and carpeting
can off-gas VOCs like formaldehyde.
Air purifier is the most direct & effective way to purify and improve the air quality of the
indoor environment. In our daily life, pets/cooking/fireplace/chemical cleaning would bring
pollution to our living space. An air purifier filters the particles/allergens/microorganisms,
and disintegrates gaseous pollutants in the air, greatly contributing to making clean & clear
air and minimizing the impact of air pollution to human body.
Clean air delivery rate, or CADR, is the key performance measurement of an air purifier. We
measure it with the unit of m³/h. By reading the CADR, we can understand how well the air
purifier performs. The bigger the number, the better.
Theoretically, the higher CADR is, the more fresh air it delivers in given time. However,
bigger CADR usually comes with bigger size/running noise of the air purifier. To pick up the
right air purifier, we need to take the room size and our demands for air purification
performance into consideration, and find the one that does the job without sacrificing living
comfort.
With the help of the NanoGuard™ technology, Jya filter achieves more than 99.95% of
filtration efficiency, the performance equivalent to HEPA H13-level. Also, NanoGuard™
technology includes activated carbon to absorb Volatile Organic Compounds, and UV
lighting(only on Fjord) for better anti-bacterial air processing. Neither of these elements was
required in HEPA standard, but we still managed to include them into our tech arsenal in
pursuit of a more thorough air purification.
With Jya Fjord/Fjord Pro, simply place it around the corner of your room(leave some room
between the device and the wall to allow airflow), then turn to AUTO mode and leave the air
purifier to handle the air for you. You can also connect to Smartmi Link
App/Homekit/Google Home/Alexa to make it work with your smart home setting and
remotely control everything that you need from it.
Generally, when the air quality of your living space is ideal, the air purifier should not kick
off as often, which is a good thing. However, if it keeps running at high speed, or switches
back and forth between high and low-speed settings, that usually means something is
wrong in the air. Notice that smoking cigarettes indoors would also be considered air
pollution.
It is recommended to open the air purifier and leave it at auto setting. It will enter the
lowest speed setting when the air is fine.
Partly yes. Different groups react to allergens in different ways. If your allergy is caused by
small particles or chemical pollutants in the air, an air purifier would greatly alleviate the
symptoms. Nevertheless, there are many other causes for the allergy --- it might be food,
clothes, make-ups, etc. If you suffer from allergies, please consult your doctor to find out
what caused the problem, then tailor your own solution. For most circumstances, an air
purifier would significantly improve the air quality of your living space.
